Privacy Policy

In short: CVI PDF collects no data. Everything you work on with the app stays on your device.

Responsible

The app

No data collection: the app does not collect, store or transmit personal data. There is no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics or tracking and no connection to any server of mine.
Files: the app only reads files you choose yourself. The result is saved where you put it.
Camera: the camera is only used when you choose “Scan printed pages”. Images are processed on the device and never sent.
Text recognition: runs entirely on the device (Apple Vision). No content is sent to third parties.
Settings and profiles: stored only on the device. Profiles may contain a first name; they never leave the device. Delete them in the app (“Delete profile”) or by removing the app.
Purchases: purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store. Apple processes your payment data according to Apple’s privacy policy. I receive no personal data, only aggregated sales figures.

Tastenreise and PDF Text Field

The same applies to my other apps: they work entirely on the device, without internet, without AI and without collecting data. Tastenreise stores only a first name or nickname per child; it never leaves the iPad.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no fonts or content from other servers. It is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). GitHub may store access data such as IP addresses for technical and security reasons; data may be transferred to the USA. Details: GitHub Privacy Statement.
