Vision
Children and young people with visual impairments learn with the same materials as their class – independently and without detours.
What drives me
Good assistive tools hardly stand out in everyday life. They are simply there when you need them. That is what sichtnah aims for.
- Learning independently: Children with visual impairments should be able to work with their materials without waiting for help.
- Accessible from the start: Worksheets, forms and tools should work for all senses – not only after being adapted.
- Relief for professionals: Teachers and specialists should spend less time adapting materials and more time with the children.
- Data stays with the child: Local, offline, no AI: what children work on belongs on their device and nowhere else.
Thinking further
